The Hiiye'yu Lelum (House of Friendship) Society provides health, social, recreational and cultural services to promote individual, family and community self-reliance. These services address the needs and aspirations of aboriginal people and focus on well-being within a cross-cultural context. To provide a cultural bridge between the Aboriginal and non-aboriginal cultures in the Cowichan Valley. To provide a central facility where counselling, information and referral services are provided and where meetings, education and recreation activities may take place.
