I placed an online order and of course ordered the incorrect size of primer. When the owner came to the door with the 1 L can and said you didn’t want this one did you? I felt deflated as I thought he was going to make me purchase that one, he simply said ‘no problem I’ll fix it right now,’ he went inside and came out with the proper one. He charged me the difference and I was on my way. I can tell you I have product sitting in my warehouse that I am not able to return to other big box stores.

We were in St. Catherines for a road test when the steering wheel locked and left us very panicked. A young gentleman from Canadian tire came to help us and was able to get us back into our car in seconds. He was very kind and rescued us from potentially a very stressful afternoon. When a need arose for boat canvas repair in the Bobcaygeon area in 1980, it was answered in a very simple but effective way, in a laundry room with a domestic sewing machine, replacing zippers and sewing on patches. When a call came to do something a little more ambitious, to replace a full convertible top, undaunted, but completely lacking in skill, equipment and materials, the answer was 'of course we can'. It took a full 2 weeks to complete the job and, for the record, the top is still functional! Today that same top would be completed in roughly 8 hours. We've come a long way. In 1986 we hired our first 2 full time seasonal employees to meet with the demand of the constantly expanding resale and wholesale clientele. We are now able to book work year round and in the height of the boating season our team us 5 members strong.
