For over thirty years, Iracore International, Inc. has been formulating and manufacturing protective elastomeric coatings for pipelines and other industrial equipment.  Initially, many of the Company's products were primarily manufactured to solve the abrasion, impact, corrosion and wear problems encountered by the mining and aggregates markets.  Over the years, Iracore International developed an expertise in coating the interior of steel pipe in long lengths (up to 60 feet) and in large diameters (up to 60 inches).  This pipe was often used to transport iron ore, gold or copper tailings.  Since 1968, Iracore (and its predecessor entities) has sold over 1.5 million linear feet (284 miles or 457 kilometers) of pipe with a protective internal coating of urethane or rubber-based compounds.The Company's product solutions enable its customers to address the challenges presented by demanding industrial applications, including:Mining, transporting and processing abrasive particles of varying sizes,Transporting and processing corrosive materials with varying chemical properties,Transporting slurry via pipeline at extreme temperature differences (interior vs. exterior),Managing equipment wear performance in light of high velocity transportation,Reducing work injury from the installation and maintenance of equipment,Maximizing the speed and effectiveness of all mining, transporting and processing functions,Minimizing the impact and wear/tear on equipment placed in harsh environments,Minimizing the replacement or servicing of wearable equipment andMinimizing the use of costly and hard-to-find skilled labor.Iracore International has a proven ability to develop new coatings and protective products to meet the above challenges and then deploy them across multiple end-markets.  The Company's recently launched IRACORE Pipe System (originally inspired by other Iracore International products for the mining industry) is the technology-leading pipe system for the oil sands industry.  IRACORE offers oil sands customers a pipe system that is less costly to install, operate and maintain, has a longer wear life, improves the coefficient of friction so that materials are transported more efficiently and reduces the risk of injury to employees.
