the EAMMEL now The Electrical Association of Manitoba Inc. began as The Electrical Service League in 1957 (26 member companies), providing service to its members and promoting the Red Seal Wiring Program. In 1991/92 it amalgamated with the Manitoba Electrical Association (MEA) to form the Manitoba Electrical league Inc. In June 2014 the name was changed to Electrical Association of Manitoba with a tag line ''Strength in Connection''. The organizatiobn is rebranding itself and wants to be seen an association that offers stability, strength and professionalism.The Association EAM is a non-profit organization made up of electrical contractors, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, agents and consultants. The EAM provides a variety of services to its members including group insurance, up-to-date industry information, networking opportunities, representation to Governments, educational and training programs to help member companies and there employees to be current with industry requirements and trends.During the Leagués 2012 'Current Connections' electrical showcase, MEL General Manager Gord Macpherson was interviewed by Electrical Business Magazine to discuss the League and Showcase event.

If you have a medical emergency, please go to your nearest urgent care center. Our house call doctors CANNOT see patients for pain medication refill or refills on medication prescribed by another doctor. Unfortunately, our house call doctors cannot assess for falls or check for broken bones. We have a walk-in clinic and a primary care clinic located minutes from downtown and neighbouring a pharmacy. We also run a house-call doctor service that sees patients from Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed for lunch every day from 12:00-1:00 pm. At this time our phones are turned off. Walk-ins are on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and on a case by case basis. Please call us before you come into the clinic to insure that we have space available. Our doctor cannot prescribe medication
