This summer we are resurfacing the airport runways and aprons. Most of the work will be done at night when the runway will be closed. However at some times runway length will be limited to 4000 ft. (Notifactions on NOTAM.) The Instrument Landing System and PAPI will be disabled during construction. Prince Rupert has a civic centre full of hobby rooms, a couple of gyms and ice rink.There is an in door swimming pool, curling rink and Performing Arts centre.
