We are a popular destination for both local and residents and tourists. Each year, more than 100,000 people visit the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Most of our visitors are families from the Lower mainland. During the months of May to October, the Maritime Museum is a popular destination for tourists curious about the maritime history of Canada. In addition, thousands of students participate in guided education programs and we are a popular destination for community groups.

Budding Children's Garden & Daycare is a convenient, educational care facility for preschoolers aged 3 – 5, and toddlers aged 18 – 35 months. Our centre is located upstairs at 950 West Broadway, in the same plaza as IHOP, easily accessible from either the 99 or the 9 bus, and not far from the Broadway/City Hall SkyTrain station. Like all licensed daycare centres, the programme at Buddings is regulated by Vancouver Coastal Health, and is specifically designed to enrich the children's experiences, promote self-guided learning, and establish the healthy habits and behaviours that will help each child to succeed in later life.
