As dessert connoisseurs we can say the bitter chocolate hazelnut torte was to die for. The food was great, the decor eclectic (in a good way). The wait staff were so very courteous and helpful - and gave just the right amount of attention.

This place is wonderful! Ive been there lots especially with an old dog with a bad leg and I loved the head vet there! She says how it is and doesn’t sugar coat things! She also is very reasonable with money which is nice. She always tells me if it’s something serious or if the food is priced better here. Staff are super friendly! Head vet was super helpful! Everyone should take their animals here.

We had a great time at Bijou and I don't agree with any of these negative reviews. To me a chalkboard menu and higher prices reflect this restaurant's commitment to local food and keeping things interesting during changing seasons. I respect this restaurant for providing quality food and taking their time rather than taking a touristy "more bang for your buck" approach.
One that note though, I did notice the service was a little slow. Not really slower than I'd expect considering the care that goes into the food, but if you're rushing to catch a show this place is maybe not your best bet. When we had our Stratford trip we made our reservation on a night where we weren't seeing any shows and got to appreciate a slower paced and delicious meal.

We couldn’t be happier with the basement Reno. From start to finish, their quality workmanship and incredible attention to detail truly stood out. Every aspect of the job was handled with care and precision, and it shows in the final result.
The team was not only highly skilled but also genuinely friendly and respectful throughout the entire process. We actually enjoyed having them in our home, which says a lot! They completed the work on time and on budget. Highly recommend - we love it!
