Parkinson Society Canada is the national voice of Canadians living with Parkinson's, a neurodegenerative disease. Through regional partners and 240 chapters and support groups, we provide education, support, and advocacy on behalf of over 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson's every day. Funding innovative research helps expand knowledge on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's and will ultimately lead to a cure.
The Ontario Mining Association (OMA) was established in 1920 to represent the mining industry of the province and is one of the longest serving trade organizations in Canada. We have a long history of working constructively with governments and communities of interest to build consensus on issues that matter to our industry and to the people of this province.
Youth Assisting Youth is a non-profit charitable organization that provides a peer mentoring service to improve life prospects for at risk and newcomer children. YAY matches children aged 6-15 with trained and dedicated Youth Volunteers aged 16-29 who act as positive role models. Since 1976 YAY has helped more than 20,000 young people. What We Do Methodology Youth Assisting Youth prevents problems before they start. Prevention is the key. To support our core One to One program we offer a number of other services.While waiting to be matched our young people can participate in our Pre-Match program or the Saddle Up for Success therapeutic riding program. Young people experiencing behavioural, social, emotional and/or cultural difficulties can be referred. A home assessment will determine their needs. Young adults and police officers from all cultures and diverse backgrounds are recruited, screened and trained to become positive peer mentors sharing their life experiences.

It advocates for pro-osteopathy legislation, supports research, and certifies registered osteopaths worldwide to uphold professional guidelines and public safety standards.
