Loop Gallery has been in operation since December 2000. Loop features artist/members who have a solid practice and an alternative pro-active approach the their careers. The Loop artists work together to organize exhibitions and events and develop and promote the gallery. Working with other cultural institutions and local business, Loop has become recognized and respected for its contributions to the Toronto art community and the quality of its exhibitions. Loop exhibitions are frequently reviewed in both local and national press.

In the fall of 1966, renowned Toronto Star theatre critic Nathan Cohen reported, 'Susan Douglas Rubes has formed a new venture, Young Peoples Theatre (YPT). Her first production, aimed at the 3-to-7 set, is The Looking Glass Revue to be presented weekends at the Colonnade Theatre'. Other YPT productions soon followed, including school tours of plays by Ionesco and Chekhov, weekday school performances and classroom visits by performers.
