Artspeak is a non-profit artist run centre established in 1986. We present contemporary practices, publications, talks and events that encourage a dialogue between visual art and writing. Artspeak actively contributes to cultural communities through our commitment to artists producing challenging, innovative work in diverse media, our affiliation with like-minded organizations, and the public interest we generate in contemporary art.

The Downtown Eastside Small Arts Grants program provides funding to help local artists overcome financial barriers and grow their creative practice.

A-Star Art Parlour's face and body paints wash off super easily with soap/cleanser and water. Once you wash off the paint it helps with sensitive skin to moisturize afterwards, because the paint can tend to dry out your skin. If you want to keep the painted design on for the next day, don't wash the area and sleep on the other side. We all know how kids love to show off their face to their friends at school the next day. It will fade a little but majority of it will still be there in the morning.

Angel Vancouver specializes in custom hand-painted shirts. This is our 36th year in business. I have painted thousands of shirts over that period.
