Sowden Lake is located 28 miles off of Highway 17 and is eighteen miles long and two miles wide in places. We have the only resort on the Lake and are situated on a half mile of beautiful sand beach.Selwyn Lake is 21 miles off of highway 17 and is also part of the English River System with the river flowing through Selwyn Lake and for another 20 miles to the north. There are no other resorts on the lake and the fishing is excellent!The Lakes all offer excellent Northern, Walleye and small mouth bass fishing.
The Motel is located right on HWY 17, 90 miles/145 km West of Thunder Bay in the heart of Canada's Outback. The motel has 19 rooms, 13 all-seasonal. All rooms are non-smoking and no cooking is allowed. Rates are reasonable and we offer weekly rates if required. Pet friendly rooms are available for an additional fee.
