I discovered this restaurant a couple months after the new owners took over. They have created the most welcoming atmosphere that makes me feel at home. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is absolutely fantastic. It would be a mistake to drive past without stopping in to see for yourself!
Meet the wonderful people and have a great home cooked meal.
And It would be a shame not to try their fresh pecan butter tarts for dessert. I always take a box to go.

My husband and children decided to head up to Algonquin over the long weekend and passed a beavertails truck on our way into the park. We decided to stop and have a snack and boy was it worth it! Even though it was busy, due to the long weekend traffic, the service was fast, the employees were having a good time and the tails were delicious! If your family ever takes a trip to Algonquin it won’t be complete without a visit to the beavertails truck. 4 thumbs up...as my kids would say!

Chris Gilmour is the lead mentor for the magority of the programs we run. I spent my childhood living a fairly typical suburban middle class life; BMX biking, skateboarding, little league, TV, boy scouts, playing guitar, and getting dirty in the small patches of 'green' spaces Burlington had to offer.
