For more than 60 years, Variety-The Children's Charity Ontario has worked with young people with disabilities and those who face developmental barriers to achieve their life potential. With our flagship project Variety Village, we are a world recognized authority providing integrated sports and life skills programs, applied research and learning programs that change children's lives and strengthen communities. Station Road is a registered non-profit corporation and is fully licensed by the Ministry of Education. Originally founded by parent volunteers in 1971, our nursery school has been a vital part of the community and children's lives for more than 40 years.

The Storefront helps networks of residents, social service organizations, academic institutions, businesses, planners and architects engage in meaningful discussions, run programs, organize events, share learning and participate in many activities, effectively and collectively.

Green Glade's mission is to facilitate the academic, social, physical and emotional development of each child. We do this by providing a safe and caring environment, in which we challenge each student and work to instil a love of learning, a quest for knowledge and respect for themselves and others. This will provide our students with the self-confidence to handle the different situations that they will encounter throughout their lives and to 'be the best they can be.' Green Glade's vision is that throught a child's middle school experience, we will encourage a love for lifelong learning by providing varied opportunities for students to take ownership and be active participants in their own learning. Students will work cooperatively and independently to develop a sense of community while they will focus on their own intellectual, physical and emotional well being.

We founded our first Inspiration Learning Center in Toronto in 2003 and have since expanded to six learning centers in the GTA with two home-away-from-home, residential, home-stay houses. Our learning centers offer excellent, professional tutoring services from highly skilled and dedicated teachers who have had many years of experience in their fields. We believe that every student can reach their full academic potential and develop a true love of and thirst for learning if they receive the right support, and that the tried and tested way to ensure this is by taking a student-centered approach to our teaching methods.

Our school has caring, committed, highly experienced teachers. We provide individualized classroom attention that adapts to a wide range of student abilities using a hands-on learning approach. We have a school environment where confidence and independence are instilled in every child. We have a welcoming, inclusive community that feels like family. In our school there are numerous opportunities for every student to participate in art, music, languages and outdoor learning.
