The Manitoba Home Care Program, established in September 1974, is the oldest, most comprehensive, province-wide, universal home care program in Canada. Home Care is provided to Manitobans of all ages based on assessed need and taking into account other resources available to the individual including families, community resources and other programs.The Home Care program was established to help people live at home, remaining independent for as long as possible, thereby avoiding or delaying the need for individuals to go into long term care facilities.

She has completed courses in Sports First Responder, prevention of running injuries, Myofascial release, acute athletic injury management, and is certified to do Acupuncture.Lori has over 10 years experience working and volunteering at various sporting events in Manitoba. These sporting events include: Head trainer at the St. Vital Mustangs Football Club, the Manitoba Marathon, Western Canadian Hockey and ringette championships, track and field, figure skating, and MHSAA volleyball championships. She is also the co-chair of the Physio Fit Run, a non profit annual road race put on to raise money for charities in need.Lori worked as an Assistant Instructor at the University of Manitoba Physiotherapy Department in their anatomy and sports courses.
