Bowen Therapy a simple yet efficient and effective hands-on therapy used to treat acute and chronic pain in the body. The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers on precise points of the body to perform Bowen’s unique sets of rolling-type moves which stimulate the muscles and soft tissue of the body. A unique feature of Bowen Therapy are the pauses used in between a set of movements. It is believed that Bowen supports the body in resetting itself allowing for repair and rebalance.
