Clare Piper began servicing the area in the 1960s by transporting milk from dairy farms in Chisholm to North Bay for processing. In 1991, Clare Piper Enterprises relocated to Powassan, Ontario where a building was constructed to house the growing distribution business of industrial and construction supplies relating to heating and cooling systems, tanks, duct work, and piping.
The Powassan location is home to the fleet of trucks servicing the Highway 11 corridor today, connecting northern and southern Ontario with short-haul freight delivery.
