The pasta at Old Spaghetti Factory is good to eat and you get decent value for the money. The pasta can tend to be ordinary from the perspective of the selections but they put together good food and they offer a fun atmosphere and decor that makes them a good family restaurant for when you are downtown with your family. The vets and staff really took the time and cared about my dog Spyro, they all treated her so well. When she had to be put down due to illness and old age (18 y.o.) they were compassionate and sincere.

You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. The food is charcuterie, not full meals. Use this place to meet up for a pre-dinner drink, or to end off the night with some wine appreciation.

Whole Foods opened their first location at Park Royal and I eagerly awaited their arrival at Cambie Street when i saw the sign go up that they were locating their. Little did I realize that this meant the demise of my favourite Capers location just up the street at 16th and Cambie. For that reason it has taken me a long time to warm to this store. This store does not have the same vibe as the West van store but I think that is partly due to the space they have to work with. That said, they carry the best selection of organic and natural and special diet products in Vancouver. The prices are reasonable, if not a little steep at times but they often have specials that take the bite out of the grocery bill a little. They are the store to buy organic dairy products as the organic milk is the cheapest in town on a daily basis. The meat department is a full service butcher and everything is clean and fresh looking...that said the meat can tend to be a bit pricey. The bakery is good and the ready to go foods are always yummy. All in all this is a pretty good store and great for those of us who try to maximize the organic foods that we eat.

You won't leave here hungry. At 945am on a Sunday we waited 45 minutes for a table. It was worth it. Good selection, good service and very good food. I couldn't help but stare at the sizable portions that went buy. My friend had the 3 little pigs, she loves corn dogs and I had their green eggs and ham on large biscuit. I can't say my dish looked appetizing as my eggs were scrambled with pesto but it was very good and filling and I couldn't finish. Cool atmosphere.
