Been twice for lunch in the past 3 months, once on a weekday , once on a saturday. Very busy on Saturday, and understaffed, but the servers did a great job considering the number of tables.
Burger was excellent, melted in my mouth, a tiny bit of hot pepper mixed in was subtle, but a tasty novelty.
Everything seemed freshly made with fresh ingredients.
Fries were shoestring style, but piping hot and very good. Dry ribs were a tiny portion and virtually no meat, but my son liked them anyway.
Rather expensive, over $100 both times.
Clientele is a$ you would expect for the neighbourhood.

I had a wonderful night one week ago. the place is small but very hospitable. The waiter very professional and always friendly and helpful. And the food? .... WOW. I think it's the best Italian food I have ever tasted.

The guys at Imperial Brick and Stone did an awesome job on my flag stone pathway at the front of my house! It was in rough shape, all of the mortar was gone between the stones and needed to be raised and made level to the sidewalk. Its much safer now and it has added curb appeal. Thanks again Chris and Tyler! Jim.

WOW!!!! My party and I were impressed.
I have had the pleasure of a couple of Friday night specials and I will be back. The polenta & duck with spaghetti alla chitarra, rapini, mixed rucula salad, focaccia and desert were a dining experience on par with some of Italy's finest restaurants I've had the pleasure to enjoy. My sister and brother-in-law visited us from Holland - so it was my absolute intention to bring them here. My husband and I visit every couple of months and we love it. The food is fabulous and the service second to none. Bread, water and wine replaced when needed and you're made to feel very confortable. My sister and her husband said it was the best meal they had ever had - looking forward to our next visit :)

I stop here ocasionaly when I take my bike following the hydro-line bicycle path. Every time I do stop here, I don't regret it at all!! The food is great, the servers are very patient and the atmosphere has a very compfortable local feel. I suggest ordering the McWindmill when you go there.

I have not been to a Jack Astors in some years but was happy with my choice 1 week ago. Both my Husband and I had a salad to start and fish for entree. We both left there very full and satisfied. Now our server was obviously hungover and not doing the greatest job, but there was always a manager, hostess or another server to get what we needed. I was satisfied and would most definitly return.
