Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors' Society was devoted to providing recreational, social and leisure activities and services to community seniors. Christian Life Community was planted in July of 1992. We began as a small group meeting in the home of Pastor Jim and Maureen Lucas who had moved from North Vancouver to birth the new community under the auspices of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. On January 17th of 1993 our new community went public and began meeting in the Chapel of Summit Pacific College. We moved to Abbotsford Christian Secondary School on Old Clayburn Road after outgrowing the chapel in 1995 .CLCC purchased and subdivided land in 2002 in order to subsidize the construction of a new facility that now serves as a Base Camp for our community at 35131 Straiton Road.CLCC exists to engage unbelieving, unconvinced people with the message of Jesus, grow them into disciples and send them out into the world.Matthew 28:19 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.Matthew 22:36-40 - Jesus said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Our goal is to work together in the love of Christ and to serve our community and world in diverse yet meaningful ways. We seek to operate in the principles and the power that are found in the book of Acts and believe our call is to be a training sending Antioch type church which sounds the gospel at home, regionally, nationally and internationally. We love Jesus and all people who we know he died for that they can have life abundant.
