Klassen Funeral Home helped us tremendously in a very sad time for our family. They were able to plan and organize the service quickly since most of the family was from out of town. They were very kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They responded to our texts and phone calls quickly and were always available to us. I highly recommend their service!Read more

The Dojo
The Kildonan Karate Dojo began in 2009 at the Bronx Park Community Centre. In 2013 we moved into our own beautiful stand-alone facility at 1115 Henderson Highway. The Dojo was built to provide a very special place in the community where students can come to practice karate. It is often said that it is the instructor’s role to inspire students, but its s most often the other way around. We strived to make the Dojo as traditional as possible to give that ‘true karate feel’, and our Dojo has become a very special place to train with a great spirit!
Mission Statement
As a proud member of the World Traditional Karate Organization, our goal is to provide a safe, respectful learning environment to allow students to take their karate to the highest level possible. In pursuit of that high level of karate, the students will develop confidence and cultivate a more refined character that will carry over to their everyday lives.
Our mom has been a resident at Luther Home for over 2 yrs. This home is staffed with very caring, cheerful people. We are always greeted with smiles and nice comments. A yearly family meeting is very informative and held with all her care givers. The meals are very nutritious and well balanced. The facility is clean. There are programs and activities offered.

Living Bible Explorers began in the spring of 1969 as the Simcoe Boys Club. It met in the West End home of 23 year-old George Bock. Four boys attended. George asked God to send someone to share the love of Jesus with kids on his street. The 'someone' prayed for turned out to be George himself.By the fall of that first year, so many boys were coming to the club additional help was needed. Along came George Walker to fill the gap. That same fall, the first girls club was started in an old Safeway building, and the ministry changed its name to Living Bible Explorers.Today, with ten full-time staff, a number of summer workers, and 50 to 100 volunteers, LBE continues to reach children, youth, and families in Winnipeg's inner city with the Good News of Jesus.
it is always wonderful being here and I have learned a lot and God has also moved mightily in the ministry. Keep up the great work and God would keep on rewarding you for doing his works and winning souls for him: as in the scriptures in Math. 28 vs 19-20 & 2Cor. 5 vs 20 Read more
