Rick was at our house in only one hour. Once I answered his questions, and he looked into the situation, he made good and honest recommendations. He did not try to offer expensive/ unnecessary procedures; he was just honest and straightforward. A refreshing experience! Well, here's a place that does a great fish and chips even though it's not their specialty, the kind of place I have been searching for since, well, a long time ago. The chips are excellent too, definitely cut and fried on the premises, no frozen stuff here. The waitress was quick to warn us that due to a large private function upstairs the service was going to be a bit slow, she was correct but we won't hold that against them. My wife and my daughter were also pleased with their orders, and we left fully satisfied.

I have been an avid animal lover since childhood. From 1989-1992 I travelled the world extensively, When I returned home to Toronto I knew that I would follow my lifelong dream of working with animals. I became a certified obedience instructor at Petsmart teaching several training classes per week. I had found my calling! In 1996, I adopted a very troubled and very energetic six month old Dalmation and called him "Lincoln". Through neglect he had become pushy, arrogant and aggressive. Lincoln also had an undeniable sweet side that sometimes shone through. I used commitment & the expertise I had gained teaching my classes to turn him around. The Upper Paw Canine Care Centre was formed in 1997 And now, eighteen years later, we use that same commitment & expertise with every dog that comes through our gates.
