Pampered Paws is a fully insured and experienced boarding kennel located 15km outside of beautiful Fernie BC. We offer daycare and overnight care for your loved K9 friends as well as grooming and bathing.
The kennel is heated and secure. There are two sizes of kennels 3'x6' and 3'x8'. The kennels allow the dogs to interact and see each other. They can even lay beside their best friend without being in the same kennel. This avoids the feeling of being alone but at the same time keeps everyone safe. Each dog is turned out 4-5 times a day in our 10x30 covered secure outdoor run.
Group playtime is an option for those social butterflies and Indivdual playtime is available for dogs who prefer to play alone.
At Pampered Paws we try our best to keep your dog happy and feeling like they are on a vacation. Our priority is to keep them safe.

Dr. Andrea Glover graduated from the University of Waterloo. She joined Rocky Mountain Optometry in 2018 after starting her optometry career in Nelson. With a passion to serve, she finds fulfillment in providing comprehensive vision and eye health examinations with compassion and personalization. Born and raised in Fernie she is pleased to return to the Kootenay lifestyle. She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, camping and skiing.
Dr. Rose graduated from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, prior to this she attended the University of Calgary and actually grew up in the Elk Valley. Dr. Rose moved home at the beginning of 2020 and has been working with us ever since, you may even recognize her as she was a summer student with us many years back. Dr. Rose has a specific background in binocular vision and paediatric eye care but overall enjoys every aspect of providing eye heath examination for all ages. She loves all things outdoors including biking, skiing, hiking and playing with her “famous” dog Hewie!
