The North Shore Disability Resource Centre (NSDRC) provides programs and services based on the belief that all people are important to their community.The North Shore Disability Resource Centre directly serves over 450 individuals through our residential and community based programs. Our Information and Advocacy Program received over 1,000 calls last year and provides programs and services to people with disabilities, their families, friends and networks on the North Shore. We make every effort to ensure that their voices are heard, and that they are supported to participate in their community as fully and independently as possible.

Dr. Jonn Matsen became interested in natural healing after improving his own health in his 20s. He became a Chartered Herbalist in 1977. Dr. Matsen completed his premedical university studies in British Columbia (BC), Canada, before attending Naturopathic medical school in the US. In 1983, he graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, and began his practice at the Northshore Naturopathic Clinic in North Vancouver, BC . His philosophy is that the body is meant to be healthy and has an innate ability to heal itself.
