We visited several farms and community gardens to observe and participate in gathering ingredients and the evaluation of food production. Daily preparation and harvest of healthy in season snacks and lunches each day and prepared for the creation of a full meal for all of their families on Friday. We also prepared sprouting kits for each family with the motivation of providing nutritional boot to any meal. A visit from a local yogurt company was a great education opportunity for the participants to learn about the process of making yogurt while anticipating our yummy creations. And a special thank you to United Way for funding our summer camp program!Our after school program will start once schools get back into to session, start date TBA. She participates in the Comox Valley dental emergency pager system which ensures her patients access to 24 hour emergency dental care. Service is also provided to patients in long term care facilities. The office is located in downtown Comox with parking lot access from Church Street. The office is wheelchair accessible, located on a bus route, and has WiFi available.
