Artcan is an art store, gallery, frame shop and studio. Owned and operated by Ron Hayes (proff. artist for 35 years). If we don't have a specific product in stock we will try our best to get it.
Our main focus is to help you frame your artwork affordably and tastefully. Whether a cross stitch, a limited edition print, your favorite album cover or your grand mother's reading glasses and Bible, we know that each piece is important to you and we use only the best, acid free, museum grade, conservation materials. We think that custom framing should be an enjoyable experiance that you can be as involved in as you like, exploring all options.

Located on the grounds of the old Horton High school at 9701 Commercial Street, the Edible Art Cafe straddles the border between the villages of Greenwich and New Minas, Nova Scotia. Look for the old brick gates of the High school, with the cafe set back from the road, and almost directly across Commercial Street from Deep Hollow Road. Our food selection includes fresh baked goods, and breakfast, as well as soups, salad, and sandwiches made fresh daily. An extensive Grab & Go line of frozen soups and entrees is also available for takeout at the incredible price of 5 meals for 20 dollars. The coffee is organic and fair trade from North Mountain Coffee, a local roaster located in Berwick. Live music is featured six days a week from noon to 2pm, culminating with the Saturday Brunch from 10am-3pm featuring a delicious Eggs Benedict. Many of the tables are Live Edge hardwood works of art, created by Ariell's husband Jesse. Lots of local art is also for sale at the cafe.
