The Curling Club of Collingwood is located in the heart of the beautiful and historic Town of Collingwood. As the premier focus of the Georgian Triangle Tourist Area, Collingwood offers year-round activities to a rapidly growing local population and to an increasing number of visitors. The membership of the Curling Club of Collingwood represents the broad spectrum of local residents. Curlers of all ages and with every level of experience come together to learn, practice and compete in the sport we all love. The group felt that one of the most pressing needs within the community of Orillia was for transitional housing for homeless women and their children.In March 2001, Couchiching Jubilee House was Incorporated in the Province of Ontario, and shortly afterwards obtained Federal Charitable status. That year, CJH opened the doors to the transitional house with 4 self-contained, fully furnished apartments.
