We hope you'll take a little time to explore it and that you will find it useful and informative.The Social Planning Council is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in our community. The society coordinates the Partners in Action Committee which focuses on issues such as homelessness, affordable housing, food security, access to recreation and crime prevention. We work in partnership with the nonprofit sector, different levels of government, the business sector and community volunteers to address social issues and create meaningful change.

NOYFSS provides counselling and support services to individuals and families in our community through a variety of community based and residential programs FREE OF CHARGE. We are wheelchair accessible, and are a certified AMSSA Safe Harbour location. NOYFSS is committed to removing barriers for individuals with (and not limited to) physical/mental/developmental exceptionalities, sensory problems (i.e. visual, auditory, etc.), poverty and language/cultural needs. We are also a nut and fragrance free facility.
