In 1968 the first St. Phillips Bakery opened its doors to business on Jane Street south of Wilson Avenue in Downsview. Giuseppe Bozzo's dream was to build a successful business in his new country. His True Passion was to produce true Artisan Italian Bread and had quickly garnered a reputation for having some of the best bread in the city.
This place is cute and cozy,the pastery is delicious, I have had the cannolis, the chololate drops and the chocolate croissants,I love sweets and fresh pastery and I am pretty pretentious from that point of view since I tried different places. The prices are very affordable. The coffee is amazing it does make me feel as I drink a cappucino in Italy. There is a HOT TABLE at lunch and the food is always fresh , daily cooked.
