Be aware there's always a waiting line for breakfast at Melissa's. That alone should tell you how good it is. The servers are great and can become overworked especailly in ski season as customers are rushing for breakfast to catch the next bus up to the ski hills. But we don't ski so our server could get a breath and not have to rush. The food is excellent and service is great. The only thing I'd like to see is senior protions of some of the larger breakfasts the Eggs benny come 1/2 portion but none of the other signiture breakfasts do. One of my favorite places to go in Red Deer! Always great food, great service, excellent selection of beer & drinks, TVs for days to watch the games, giveaways, different food & drink specials each day of the week, good looking servers, great bartenders...the list goes on & on. It's a small shop for a small town. Fits the bill perfectly. The owner is wonderful, the food was plentiful and done just rite with the best hollandaise sauce I've had in years.
