Victor Goncalves was 10 years old when he began his first job as a bakers assistant in the small town of Loubagueira near Torres Vedras, Portugal. Being from a large lower class family, Victor worked countless hours just to be able to put food into the mouths of his brothers and sister. Quickly gaining skill and popularity amongst the bakers, he found a job in the city of Torres Vedras, where he was able to expand his baking expertise.
