Founded in 1873, The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce is the largest organization representing the voice of business in Winnipeg. We have a membership of more than 2,000 companies, representing close to 90,000 employees.
The Comox Valley is situated mid-way on Vancouver Island's east coast. It is bordered on the west by the Beaufort Mountain Range, whose highlight is the breathtaking Comox Glacier, also called Queneesh to the local First Nations. The eastern border is the shoreline of the Strait of Georgia with its panoramic views of the mainland's Sunshine Coast and mountains beyond. The Valley extends south to Fanny Bay and north to the Oyster River. The Comox Valley has two forms of local government. The Town of Comox, the City of Courtenay and the Village of Cumberland operate as municipalities and the Comox Valley Regional District handles the affairs of the rural areas.

The Chamber is an advocate for local business. We listen to the needs of our members and work with government at all levels to make sure their voice is heard. Our advocacy efforts help advance local businesses, making our community a more attractive place to live, work, and do business. We also run the Bonnyville visitor information center and are open year round to answer any tourism inquiries. Information available for local area as well as the rest of Alberta and British Columbia.
