Our roots go back to Portugal. In the early 1960s when my Father came to Canada from Portugal with very limited funds but had knowledge, ambition, pride and started working in the construction trade, building bridges and forming and placing concrete city sidewalks. Then in the late 1970s on weekends I would help my father with pouring and finishing residential concrete , patios, steps, driveways, garage floors.
