I am deathly afraid of the dentist. I don't like going and when I do, my anxiety goes through the roof. I need to be frozen, sedated, whatever it takes for me not to feel a thing. Well today was an experience that I wont forget. Dr Hicks & Dee are absolutely terrific. I was treated like gold, very patient, kind and I didn't even need freezing. Born and raised in Ottawa ,my parents had some rooms added in the basement and once I saw the carpenters at work , I was hooked. Not a day went by without me asking them questions. Through out my schooling i always worked in various fields of the construction industry , whether it be concrete work or framing houses . Attended college briefly in architecture , yet i craved the outside and the hands on aspect of things. Worked on many heritage structures in Ottawa as well as the first New York style condos at the “Wallace House” on Rideau ST. Going on 35 plus years, it has yet felt like work !
