The first Minute Muffler shop opened on the corner of 5th Street and 6th Avenue South, in Lethbridge, Alberta in 1969. At that time, Minute Muffler was the only shop in Lethbridge specializing solely in mufflers and exhaust systems. News quickly spread and Minute Muffler became an instant hit and the talk of the town. Although muffler and performance exhaust systems remain our primary service we also specialize in complete auto repair, brake repair, shock absorbers, struts, oil, lube and car care check-up and other services. Our 24 hour crisis line and outreach program supports women and their families during crisis, assists with personal safety planning, and makes referrals to other agencies. The outreach program supports families from the shelter and works with other families living in Camrose and surrounding communities who require support and information in dealing with family violence. We also provide community presentations on family violence and the programs offered by our agency.

Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service. With STARS, those living in rural communities, working in remote areas, travelling on highways or being transported from community hospitals to major medical centres, receive the very best in critical care in helicopters staffed and outfitted as mobile ICUs. While in the air, these patients will receive the highest level of care available. Every day, STARS takes care of some of the sickest and most critically-injured patients in Western Canada. This translates to thousands of people every year who rely on STARS to get them to hospitals safely where they can access the advanced care they need.
