UrbanPromise Toronto exists to proclaim the love of Jesus, and to express it through the spiritual, social and educational development of children, youth and families living in Toronto Community Housing.
SCHC built on the initial services of our Meals-on-Wheels, home support, transportation and family support programs. We provide medical assistance through our clinics, are involved in a growing youth program and have a multitude of social support programs including a food bank.
ACSA addresses a variety of issues including systemic poverty, hunger, housing, homelessness, unemployment, accessibility and social isolation. Over the years ACSA has been funded by all levels of government, several foundations, schools, local faith communities, and The United Way of Greater Toronto. Its strength remains in the original concept: To act as a bridge between people who need help and those who can provide it
Located in Scarborough, the South Asian Autism Awareness Centre was created with the intention of inspiring families impacted by ASD in a culturally responsive manner. Founded in 2008, SAAAC has evolved to cater diverse communities and families across the GTA, providing accessible and discipline-rich management of ASD among children, youth, and adults.
