When I signed up for this service, it was only for a year. I made that very clear with the sales rep I spoke with. They automatically renewed my "contract". I never signed a contract with them, so not sure how they did that. However, I have called YP 2 times to cancel this service. Each time they have told me it's been cancelled, yet the site remains up and I'm still getting billed because their claims department takes 10 weeks to do anything. It's been over an hour and I'm still waiting for Customer Service to pick up my call in attempts to cancel this service yet again. They are great for answering your call when you want to sign up, but fail miserably at the Customer Service end when trying to end your relationship with them.
