They dived into 20,000 files that have been in storage for years, finding some that were a century old, and sorted them neatly away in boxes to send for retention or disposal.Putting the care in caretakingThe division's 70 caretakers spent the summer preparing for the new year by doing maintenance that they can't get to during the regular school year, like stripping and waxing floors. Summer students helped out by cutting the grass, cleaning up the yards, and helping to move furniture for schools under renovation.Books, books, and more booksThe division office was busy this summer.
