Started going here when it was the only option for my rats. I continued because of how amazing they treated my pets. Now I bring my two dogs, one being a new puppy. They were able to tell me exactly what his issue eating was within minutes of hearing his problems. Since the first visit he’s doubled his weight. They even encouraged me to contact his breeder in order to be compensated for his X-ray. They not only do they care about your pets but they care about you as an owner. Great vets!Read more

The staff is very good. They really care about the patients. It's sometimes hard to get in for an appointment with wait times on average 2 weeks. But if possible they do their best to squeeze you in much sooner if not the same day. They have a wide variety of activities going on in the center every day. It makes the place seem friendlier. This also allows for everyone to get involved. The programs for kids are excellent!!!!! Good work NKHC STAFF AND DOCTORS! Read more

It is rather awkward to be making the change so soon after Buds death,' said Higgins last week, 'but there is little time before the nomination deadline and once I took the decision I felt I should make the change right away.Higgins said that he ed Jackie Clayton, Buds widow, before making the change. 'It was a difficult phone call for me to make, but she said she had no problem with it,' Higgins said. Although he was running for council, Higgins said he had been planning to put his name forward for mayor later on, and had talked to Bud Clayton about his long-term political ambitions earlier this summer. He is the founding chair of the North Frontenac Lake Association Alliance, a member of the townships Economic Development Task Force, and a former board member of the Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation. Betty Hunter, who is currently one of the councilors for Ward 3 in North Frontenac, has decided to run again, this time in Ward 2. She had indicated earlier in the summer that she was not going to run for council this time, saying 'Ive done my time'.
