Then, with the consultation of a few companies, we bought 100 tons of carbon offsets from Offsetters.ca to fund solar-energy projects in the Lower Mainland. What inspired me to take this step was to challenge other businesses to look beyond recycling, which Vancouver does a great job. I think carbon neutral is very avant-garde.Being from Whistler and still owing a salon there, I still place a little bit of that mountain magic in the salon, where everyone says hi to each other all the time and they are your friends.
