Webb's Machinery was first formed in September of 1987 by Ed Ford, Ted Grocock, Chester Ford, and Bill Bast. Ed headed the team, bringing with him eight years of experience, having started out in the agriculture equipment industry in 1979 working at Parkview Equipment in Wainwright. Over the years Ed worked in a number of different locations, including Vermilion. But when it came time to open his own shop, coming back to Wainwright just seemed natural.
