RCCG WinnipegRCCG Winnipeg first began at 2791 Pembina Hwy (i.e. where Bank of Montreal Fort Richmond branch is currently located). In 2002 the church relocated from 2791 Pembina Hwy to 2989 Pembina Hwy at the request of the property owner of 2791 Pembina Hwy. After this move, the property at 2791 Pembina Hwy was leased to a night club house called twilight zone; Pastor Joseph Okunnu and the other members of the church confessed that the building would rather be called Holy Ghost zone.The Church began to grow and expand while at 2989 Pembina Hwy, so the church made its third move to 50 Barnes street Winnipeg, in January 2003. The building was rented from the World Wide Bible Church. RCCG Winnipeg moved when World Wide church started Sunday morning service, which would have left us with the evening service. In October 2003, the church was once again relocated to its original place of worship 2791 Pembina hwy. In April 2005, the church moved to 51 Richfield Avenue, renting the building from Bible Church of God.

Sturgeon Heights CC is offering a Free Fit Club starting next Tuesday May 13, 6 pm and running weekly if there is interest. This is offered by SHCC and run by local trainers that have offered their services for free to help the community get in shape. Similar to a sample of programs like P90X and some of the more popular exercise programs. There will be sports drinks or other recovery drinks supplied. All will be offered at no cost. The greens are average-sized and undulating.The signature hole is #9, a long 235-yard, par 3, requiring the tee shot to carry over a bunker in front of the green. Water comes into play on two of the nine holes. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Other amenities at the site include a short-game practise are,a putting green and restaurant.
