Garden Grove Child Care Inc. was opened in 1981 and was located in the Ecole Garden Grove School and was licensed for 30 school age children. Over the years, our centre has continued to respond to the increased need for child care. We currently are licensed for 18 Preschool (ages 4&5 yrs) and 34 School Age Spaces. Currently we are working on an expansion plan with the City and other funding partners to expand our program to meet community need.The centre is run by a Board of Directors, which is made up of parents / guardians and community members. Parental involvement is essential to the operation and success of the Centre.The centre employs a full time Executive Director who is responsible to manage the program.We have a dynamic and committed staff team who provide the quality programming to our children and families. Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc was incorporated in 1984. The centre began operating as a School Age Program in one room. Throughout the years, the centre continued to expand to include kindergarten, nursery and preschool children. Presently, we are fully licensed for 46 children.Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc. provides a loving environment for the development of each child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social skills. We provide an environment where children can work independently. The rooms have beauty, order, reality, simplicity and accessibility. The children have the freedom to work and move around the room which allows them to act as part of a social group.Our staff are exceptional! Each staff member brings with her a special interest in children and helps assist each child develop their unique potential, both as a person and as a member of our community. Harstone Children's Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre located in the west end of Winnipeg. We have five unique locations serving over 140 families, and we are government subsidized.
