Arbutus Grove Children's Centre's mission is to support and enhance each child's physical, social, emotional, creative and intellectual growth through play-oriented learning. A part of the community Arbutus Grove Children's Centre opened in September 2004 at 3905 Haro Road. Although the name and location of our centre is new, Arbutus Grove Children's Centre comes with a tradition of excellence in providing quality early learning programs. The new school formerly operated as Goosey Gander Kindergarten on Telegraph Bay Road for nearly 45 years. Arbutus Grove Children's Centre has four unique rooms and a large outdoor playground. Each of the distinctive areas provides unique learning opportunities with a wide array of different materials and activities that enhance all areas of childhood development. The groups are rotated through the different areas, giving the children a chance to leave one room and enter another completely new world in the next room. Fax: 250-477-2589

Located in Sidney, Adel's Play N Discovery House is a B.C. licensed child care centre for 3-5 year olds. Here fun play becomes a medium of discovery and learning! We believe that children learn best in open-ended explorations, where teachers help them make meaningful connections. Our daily activities include fun play in creative arts & crafts, painting, expressive language, science play, creative counting, alphabet recognition and learning fine motor skills like cutting, knitting, handwriting and drawing shapes. To promote physical activeness or use of large muscles, our outdoor play include sand and water play, cooperative games, kite flying, nature walk, and engaging field trips to farms, aquariums, museums, parks, grocery stores, firefighter stations and others. Believing that high quality early childhood learning program should be affordable to most parents, we offer the lowest at the ranges of fees for licensed group childcare facilities in the Peninsula.
