Seaway Golf Limited is a father and son team consisting of Stan Brigham, President and Chris Brigham, Managing Director who lease and operate two area golf courses - Iroquois Golf Club and Champlain Golf Course. The Brockville Country Club was founded in 1914, the first President being John A. MacKenzie. The club house was located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River - its nine hole golf course had two holes on the south side of the King's Highway and seven holes on the north side. The club house was destroyed by fire in late November 1937, rebuilt for the following season, and occupied thereafter until October 1976.
