For the price, food and service, Paradise Banquet hall was the best option we found while we were searching for a hall. There were no different pricing from different days, no sharing of halls with other weddings/events. Best of all, Paradise catered the food to exactly our tastes and preferences (meaning no butter chicken standard fare), everyone loved the appetizers. The washrooms were extremely clean and well kept throughout. Thank you Douglas and Paradise Hall, we were extremely happy!

Slovenian Society is a non-profit organization, established in 1958. Slovenian Hall serves as the primary venue for Slovenian cultural and social events in Burnaby. In between events, Slovenian Hall is available for rent. The Hall offers easy access from Highway #1 and from Canada Way. With a capacity of 220 people, Slovenian Hall features a kitchen, bar, stage, hardwood floor, large covered outdoor area and a fenced 60-vehicle parking lot. The hall has the flexibility to be set up for any kind of event and provides an excellent venue for events such as weddings, banquets, parties, socials, meetings, receptions and presentation. Our well-equipped kitchen can be used by your chef or by a caterer. Tables and chairs are available to seat up to 220 people in air conditioned comfort.
