JF Fitness and Therapy is one-of-a-kind, focusing not only on physical health but also mental health. We are the only health center combining Fitness and Therapy into one class in all of Ontario. JF Fitness and Therapy is the brainchild of Founder Jacklyn Frias, a Personal Trainer and Registered Social Worker. The space was created with the warmth and love she exhibits in her daily life. She worked for The North East LIHN as a Social Worker for 2 years and as a front line counsellor at Esprite, the women Shelter in Parry Sound. She has been a Personal Trainer for 10 + years and has experience working with troubled youth through the Youthdale Treatment Centre and Arrow head. Jacklyn Frias is all about empowering women. After having been in the fitness community for some time, she’s realized how much pressure there is on women to look their absolute best. She wants to help women break free from social constructs and wants women to love themselves and to embrace all their imperfections. Counselling works with a wide range of clients struggling with various types of circumstances. With each client their aim is first and foremost to help them reach their individual goals, feel confident and capable, and acquire the tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle moving forward. We take Insurance Benefits and work with Employee Assistance Programs. JF Fitness and Therapy also offers an array of Fitness Classes, Workshops, and Events. Classes include Yoga, Boxing, Kickboxing, HIIT, and Bootcamps. Occasionally offering Gentle Fit for Seniors, Running Clinics, Self Love Empowerment Group Sessions, and Fight to Empower Workshops. As well there has been an importance to add some youth classes and workshop options, to empower our youth with confidence.
