The WETT system consists of several courses recognizing the various types of work done by wood energyprofessionals. Certification is achieved by completing courses to earn educational credits. A technical referencemanual has been prepared to assist trainees in preparing for courses and as a reference manual for certificateholders.
We bought a house in Picton and started doing work when we discovered knob and tube wiring hidden in the walls.
Bill Devries went out of his way to help us make it right.

We appreciated his help and support.Read more
As I’m sure you are aware, it is becoming increasingly important to have WETT compliance inspections on homes with wood burning stoves or fireplaces during Real-Estate transactions. Most insurance companies require an inspection by a certified WETT professional before a buyer can get fully approved for home insurance.
As an Agent representing a purchaser or vendor of a residential property, you will need to rely on a qualified WETT inspector with many years of experience.
I presently concentrate solely on inspection and remedial work in Eastern Ontario. My certification credentials include the highest level of certification:
- Master Technician
- Master Sweep
- SITE Basic Inspector
- SITE Comprehensive Inspector.
Please feel free to share my contact information with your colleagues. I respond to a request for inspection within 24 hours and can provide in that time a verbal response to indicate whether there are issues with the installation.
