Located within Winnipeg's busy downtown core, CDI College's Winnipeg campus is near major shopping centres, local parks and the Red River. Students have easy access to public transportation, shopping, dining and other services, along with social activities such as sports, arts and culture.
Community & BusinessThe post secondary program is responsible for all students who attend colleges and universities within and outside the province of Manitoba. Students who wish to return to school must put in a sponsorship application to the post-secondary department each calendar year in order to be considered for sponsorship and depending on the availability of post secondary funding for that fiscal year. Students who wish to attend university for summer school must put in their application on or before February 1st of each calendar year. Students who wish to attend college or university in the Fall must submit an application on or before March 31st of each calendar year. Application forms can be accessed through the internet or by contacting the CLEA board office during office hours.The Transportation department oversees the transportation of students attending Otter Nelson River and Mikisew School.
This course builds on the skills acquired in Better People Pictures. Participants will begin to develop their own unique style as they learn more advanced techniques and approaches to capturing the essence of their subjects.Advanced Portraiture8 sessionsBring your imagination to life! This class focuses on giving you the tools, techniques, and above all, encouragement and support to develop your own unique style of portraiture. This intensive 8-week course is led by artist and professional photographer Liane Bergen who will guide you through planning, setting up and capturing creative portraits and show you how to edit, retouching and prepare your images for print. The course concludes with a public exhibit of students' work at the PairieView Gallery.
