Japanese charcoal, particularly Binchotan, is prized for its superior quality of burning in addition to the excellent heat retention at high temperatures. Most fine quality charcoal contains 80% of carbon component, which produces minimal odour associated with the impurities and volatile components. However, in binchotan charcoal, the carbon component is 93% to 95%, meaning food grilled with it retains its own natural flavours at the most purest state. Since Binchotan charcoal is nearly pure carbon, it momentarily reaches temperatures of 1000°C yet produces no flame or odour. This flameless and therefore gentle technique of grilling is cherished by barbeque connoisseurs worldwide.

The first Lady Marmalade opened its doors in Victoria in 2005. Originally from Toronto, Carla Cherry & her brother, David Cherry, opened up the little brunch joint & worked hard to make it a Victoria staple. Lady Marmalade quickly became famous for their delicious eggs benny and tasty Mexican dishes. In 2008, David moved back to Toronto with his wife Natalia Simachkevitch, while Carla stayed at the helm of Lady Marmalade in Victoria. David & Natalia scoured the city for the perfect location & a second Lady Marmalade opened in July 2009 in lovely Leslieville. David cooked, Natalia served.

Sportsnet Grill offers the ultimate sports dining experience with floor to ceiling windows delivering remarkable views looking into the Rogers Centre. A sports-themed restaurant, Sportsnet Grill is a fun, casual and contemporary space that is a perfect gathering spot for sports fans to meet up and enjoy watching games year round. Located at 1 Blue Jays Way, inside the Marriott Hotel just steps east of Rogers Centre Gate #15 or west of Gate #1 and directly above left field.
I enjoy food and drinks at Arriba Lounge a number of times throughout the Blue Jays season. We are always pleased with the service and the food. The view of the field is spectacular and sometimes we just stay there to watch the game instead of going inside the dome. It's a wonderful place to catch a game and a great meal. Read more
This culinary jewel perched inconspicuously in a residential neighbourhood on the lip of the Toronto cityscape is remarkable for lots of reasons, not the least of which is the impeccable service and French fusion delectables on the menu. Much-fussed-over menu staples at this longtime Yorkville standard include the squeaky buffalo mozzarella, tangy ravioli and homemade coconut cream pie. Everything, from the most sweetly simple to the most ambitious dish, is truly spectacular. Complimentary amuse-bouches deliver you from taste to taste. Get a seat by the window.
This was the best restaurant we have ever been to. The view of the entire city at night was spectacular and everything we ate including the bread (we bought a loaf from them it was so delicious) and the deserts homemade from scratch were mouth watering delicacies...the service was spectacular...the servers were wiping our table for crumbs in between each course. They had 3 different servers assisting us and they were all so helpful and polite. We had other plans that we cancelled for after our meal because it was so great that we ended up spending the entire night there and we can't wait to go back!!!Read more
The Keg Steakhouse & Bar invites you to their steakhouse. This establishment proposes steaks for 11$ to 25$. Their atmosphere has been described as casual. You can get there by car.
I rated this Keg a 4 but that is a balance of infleucnes because there is a good side and a down side. The good: the cleavage OR the mini-skirts. Notice that checking out some cleavage on young ladies or short skirts is pure entertainment and super. BUt for some very strange reason no waitress has both of them. Its either this or that. What is the story? I dont know. The girls with cleavage have pants, the girls in minis have no cleavage. STRANGE>
the other down side is the kids. People, if you have three kids can you ask them to stay at home or leave their baseball caps at home? this is a high class restaurant. There is a burger place around the corner did you mean to take them there?
I am not going to come back and order alcohol if there are kids around.
The steak was good, the wine was what we wanted and at a reasonable price and my date was the hottest blondie in the whole place but.... (see above)Read more

Momiji means maple leaf in Japanese, in honor of our adopted country. The name represents the coming together of the two cultures, which we also incorporate into some of our original creations. Each Momiji is great for casual and formal dining whether f
I had my reservations about dining here as it's been at least 2 years since I've been to this Momiji location. However, my usual sushi places were closed on Labour Day, they had Lunch Specials goin' on, so why not?
I ordered Sushi Bento (4 nigiri, 6 spicy salmon, 4 tempura) which was $10.50. My bf had Sushi Combo (6 cali, 7 nigiri), $11.50. And we added the Alaska Roll - $7.95 - we didn't think that we'd have enough food.
Both Lunch Specials were AMAZING value, including miso soup + salad. So we didn't need the Alaska Roll. Fish was pretty fresh, no pieces fell apart, detailed presentation, good service - having our tea refilled without asking!
I have never been here for Dinner, but Lunch Specials are until 3:30pm and GREAT VALUE. So if you're in the Clarkson area, check this place out!Read more
Come taste a savory dish at Koganei Japanese Restaurant. They are open late all week. You can get there by car and enjoy your meal at home thanks to their delivery service.
Food: Last week was my first time trying Koganei so I didn't get to try lots of food. However, Koganei roll was one of the best roll I ever had. it's bit pricey for a roll (almost $15 with tax) but it's worth it. I do not know exactly what's in the roll (it's shrimp tempura roll with some little bit spicy orange-red stuff with tiny fish eggs on the top) but it was amazing. (I wish red stuff on the top was more spicier though.)
I also tried miso base noodle soup (noodles and veggies in miso soup) which was salty for my taste. did not really like it.
Service: wait staffs were nice and helpful. when i went, there weren't many people in the restaurant so i didn't have to wait long to order and get my food.
Atmosphere: table setting seemed little weird to me because little table for 2 people were placed right next to booth but decor was good.Read more

The food was DELISH, especially the pizza, pasta and seafood - you and the servers were very accommodating. Our party of 20 was looked after even though the restaurant was very busy with Mothers Day patrons. We thank you for that.
I will definitely not hesitate to recommend Mastro Roberto as well as look forward to eating there again.Read more

Nestled in the atrium of Mies Van der Rohe's modernist TD Towers, Bymark reflects the dynamic energy of Toronto's bustling financial district. The bar is a mix of leather and wood, flooded with sunshine during the day and a dramatic mix of candlelight and cityscape at night. The glittering dining room impresses with Yabu Pushelberg's timeless design, both a focal point and a stage for a memorable meal. Bymark may be a few steps below ground, but its décor and service exceed expectations.
I loved the atmosphere. Will go back to have the tuna tartare. I had some beef thing on lettuce - it was incredibly bland and for desert I had the eclair which was stale and the cream was hardened. But the atmosphere is great and for Winterlicious they have a new menu so may check it out.Read more
