We cater to kids, teens and adults! Voice, Piano, Guitar, Cello, Violin, Banjo, Accordion, Flute and Group Classes! We are located in downtown Kitchener at the heart of the region's innovation hub in the historic Tannery building. Our curriculum adapts to the student's individual learning needs, whether they want to follow Royal Conservatory concepts or simply learn their favourite songs. Our knowledgeable and approachable teachers can structure the lessons for any age or experience level. To enhance learning, we can record an accompaniment and other practice aids and send them to your email account. We can also record completed songs so the student can share their new talents with friends and family. Individual or group lessons are available, with pricing that is structured per half hour or hour; we provide discounted costs for hour lessons, multiple students in one household and group lessons. Students often come in advance of their lessons to lounge and do homework in the waiting room, which also includes warm-up keyboards with headphones and shelves of sight-reading material.
Since 1983 Pro Music has been intrusted to teach thousands of people to play a musical instrument. Our mission has always remained the same: to teach children and adults to play an instrument lifelong. We offer private lessons for piano, vocal, guitar, bass, drums, group piano lessons, Music Therapy and Music Starters. Music lessons have changed over the years. Pro Music uses the latest innovative technology in our group piano classes. We engage the children by using computers to interactively learn theory and rhythm. For young children we offer Music Starters. This is by far the best program available for children who are between 3-6 years old. They sing, drum, keyboard, touch & try many different instruments. We let them explore and learn in a "hands on" environment. From guitars to violins to double bass they try it all! Try one of our Quickstart Packages. You get 6 private lessons, music book, and a free loaner instrument. Recitals are offered twice a year.
